Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church hosts the Hurting and Hungry project 3 days a week serving the homeless community of Compton, Calif.
Each morning the people of the community check in to recieve their ticket for their free groceries.
Benjamin Wallis has been following the Hurting and Hungry project for 3 years. "I think what they're doin' is beautiful; and I wish there was more I could do to give back; Wallis said.

10-year-old Janae and cousin Robert come to the missionary every Tuesday morning to recieve groceries for their grandparents.
The most comforting and welcoming group of REAL human beings I have ever encountered in my life so far. There's something beautiful about a community that will make the most out of every little detail that surrounds them...every thing from their tired eyes to the smiles they crack when they have a new person to talk to. Please learn to live simply. simply live. simple living.And then some.
Promo shoot/Photo Essay. The show enjoys a sold out extended 3 month run. The adult children's show is a 200th birthday party for the beloved French puppet, Guignol usurped by cousin, Punch. It includes traditional folk tales in pre-Grimm forms: Hansel and Gretel: a Horror Play, Little Red Riding Hood: a Horror Play, The Ugly Duckling: a Melodrama Ballet and Rapunzel: An Erotic Thriller (by petits guignolers).

The evenings entertainment reveals the sophisticated exploitation of the audience's fears, taboos, and desires.Featuring eye-gouging, throat slashing, and acid throwing climaxes.... and alcohol, and birthday cake for all.

1. I earned my B.A in Photography Communications this year. I have been shooting with all Canon equipment and only Canon equipment for 5 years.
